Lyncsync
This project chronicles the inception of a digital product, including the development of its name, logo, and brand identity.
Creating a brand name is difficult! A team consisting of Creative Director Brian Turner, Copy Director Bret Gunter and I, narrowed down over 100 names to our favorites above. On a whim, ECD Bryan Moss suggested “How about something like Lyncsync”. After trying to acquire the .com for the original favorites, the only URL we could secure was his suggestion: Lyncsync.
After I designed hundreds of logo variations, we narrowed it down to our favorite four. The client ultimately selected this option:
This moodboard was selected by the client out of the three I created. I translated that look into our own unique brand identity.
